The eighteenth century hamlet is situated in hill (m.100) among plurisecular olive-trees,looking on the Ionio sea(Km.3)and close to the mountainous reliefs(Camigliatello Km.45).The Farm Holidays complex has seven bedrooms with its relative bathrooms (sixteen bed places).These bedrooms are in the same building,from which theguests can enjoy the wonderful sight of the gulf and of the plain of Sybaris until the suggestive chain of Pollino.An integrant part of Sybaris territory, in which rises the hamlet,is linked to the Magna- Graecia Greek-Byzantine history and culture, above all,the utmost,for its religious tradition and its main structures of the monumental architucture. Trapesimi's hamlet can be consulted the Archive of the Princes of Campana. Such archive belongs to the Francesco Joele Pace. Centuries 17th/19th This archive has been considered by a Declaration of Archival Superintendence of Calabria of a great historical interest.

FIRST ARCHAEOLOGICAL ITINERARY TIME OF WAY AND BREAKS: FIVE HOURS KM. 107. Archaeological excavations of Sybaris Archaeological Museum of the Sybarities brezio centre Castiglione of Paludi, way back for Cropalati, Crosia, Rossano Scalo. Starting from Rossano Scalo and running across the S.S. 106, at the km. 24, people reach Parco del Cavallo locality where it is possible to visit the excavations of Sybaris and a permanent exhibition: (visiting hours 9.00 - 12.30 a.m.; 3.00 until an hour before the sunset p.m.). Moreover, at Sybaris Station (km. 5 from the excavations) it can be visited the Museum of the Sybarites: (visiting hours: 9.00 - 13.00 a.m.; 4.30 - 6.30 p.m.), which preserves the archaeological reports of Francavilla M.ma area (necropolis of Macchiabate e Sanctuary of Athena on the Timpone Motta). Running over S.S. 106 bis again towards Rossano; 5 Km. after Rossano Scalo there is the cross-road for Amica country sude which leads to Paludi, where it is well - advsed to visit the historical centre and the old brezio settling down of Castiglione. Moreover it can be admired buildings and an imposing masonry town-walls with towers of the 4th century B.C. (see Paludi).The excursion can be concluded coming back the S.S. 117 for Cropalati by visiting the historical centre (the remains of the medieval castle are interesting). Then, taking the S.S. 531 it is possible to visit Crosia (historical centre with particular reference to the remains of the defensive system Torre Tecla and Mirto Castle). Following the coast of S.S.106 bis you come back Rossano.

SECOND ARCHAEOLOGICAL ITINERARY TIME OF WAY AND BREAKS: FIVE HOURS KM. 113. Departure from Rossano Scalo for Mirto Crosia - Calopezzati - Hannibal Wall of Pietrapaola. Way back for Mandatoriccio - Scala Coeli - Terravecchia - Brezia Grave and archaeological area of Cariati - Rossano Scalo. It is possible to start the excursion by Rossano Scalo running over S.S. 106 towards Crotone, crossing Mirto Crosia center and going on the Pietrapaola cross-road. The historical centre is characteristic with its caves excavated in the rock. Another important place to visit is the archaeological area of Le Muraglie where it can be seen an old defensive plant built in the 3rd century B.C. - (see Pietrapaola). You can come back for Mandatoriccio (historical centre, medieval castle and fortress form) and after 6 Km. crossing the S.S. 108, you go on for Terravecchia and Scala Coeli. Then, it can be visited Cariati, above all Salto locality, near the civil hospital, where it has been discovered an old grave - room of the bruzio period; it can also be visited the archaeological area of S.Maria (see Cariati). Running over the S.S. 106 bis it is possible to visit Cariati for its historical centre and its defensive bastions.
