MARINETTA Bed and Breakfast, recently opened and pleasently furnished, is in Signa, in excellent position to reach quickly Florence and the other beautiful artistic towns of Tuscany. You can reach the centre of Florence (leaving your car in our private parking) by train in only 15 minutes ( the station is really near), or with the city bus in 40 minutes ( the bus stop is in front of Bed and Breakfast). We can offer different accommodations: finely and furnished single and double rooms, all with private bathroom (with shower), satellite TV, air conditioned,indipendent suites (max.4 bed places), with small private kitchen. At complete disposal of our guests, there are guidebooks for trips, for every requirements: history, culture, beauties of nature, gastronomy, enology, and sports. You can visit Pisa, Siena, Arezzo and the beautiful hills of Chianti countryside, and the sandy beaches of Versilia wich have their back the famous marble quarries. You can reach these places in one hour for the favourable road and railway connections. In 20 minutes there are Prato, Montelupo Fiorentino, well- know for the Museum of Archeology and Ceramics,Vinci, Leonardo's home town, Carmignano, for Pontormo's paintings. In Signa is possible to visit some churches, tabernacles, the towers and the rest of the medieval castle, the museum dedicated to the economic history of the straw and the famous florentine straw hat, born in Signa and famous all over the world. For the sportsmen, at 300 meters, we suggest "Stato Libero dei Renai": 70 hectares of lakes, isles, cycle tracks (which reaches Florence), equipments for all the sports.
