The B&B “Il rifugio dei Marsi” (The shelter of the Marsi) is situated in the proximities of Ascoli Piceno, at Roccafluvione, between the plantations of black valuable truffles. The view is wonderful and suggestive: on one side you can admire the so called “Monte Ascensione” (the Ascension Mountain) and on the other side the “Montagna dei Fiori” (Mountain of the Flowers), surrounded by the typical landscape of the region “Marche” (Marches) where the sweet hills echo the verses of Leopardi and the works of Licini. It also offers a various and interesting stay because it is situated in a strategic position: 30 km from “San Benedetto del Tronto” on the Adriatic sea and adventurous excursions in the “Laga” and of the “Sibillini” mountains. From November to March (truffle harvest period) you can enjoy guided excursions in the truffle farm guided by Ezio and his dog tasting the emotion of the search. All rooms have private services, of which one a whirlpool bath. The entire house is furnished according to the sober but comfortable taste of the landlady that gives the best of herself in receiving the hosts with a homemade typical breakfast of the territory and biological products of the family farm. For our guests there are mountain bikes to ride across naturalistic tracks and after a long bike ride, you can relax yourself in the luxurious Turkish bath equipped with a chromotherapy inside of the b& b. The B&B “Il rifugio dei Marsi” is the ideal place for a vacation of relax in contact with nature.
